Two pounds of corn for each pound of pork?

CNBC is reporting that the cost of your breakfast will be increasing due to the cost of corn. So you say, I don't eat corn for breakfast... but, you do if you are consuming meat and cow's milk for breakfast.

Corn is the "fattening" agent for big herd companies (I mean, farmers). Cow's aren't necessarily happily grazing in pastures of non-GMO alphalpha after all.

What's in your breakfast? How could a more plant-based diet help the cost of your food or "meatless Mondays" even help you prevent the need for GMO corn?
